Alongside her role as Founding Partner of Lunara Partners, Hala is also the Managing Partner of Raphael Law Firm, where she advises family offices, funds, and entrepreneurs on structuring, governance, and complex cross-border transactions.
Previously, Hala spent nearly ten years as Chief Operating Officer and Head of Legal at Middle East Venture Partners (MEVP), one of the region's most active venture capital firms, where she was also a Partner. During her tenure, she negotiated and closed over a hundred transactions, including M&A, joint ventures, restructurings, and fund formations, while also overseeing legal, compliance, and operational functions.
In addition to her legal and VC background, Hala has co-founded and continues to manage several entrepreneurial ventures, including Boonz ME, a next-generation smart vending machine start-up offering automated retail experiences, and AKY Properties, a property development and management company with projects in Bali. She is also an active angel investor, backing early-stage technology companies across MENA and beyond.
Hala holds a B.A. in Private Law with Honours from Saint-Joseph University of Beirut and is admitted to the Beirut Bar Association.
